Thank you for your interest in a free copy of The Universe Builders: Bernie and the Lost Girl.
So, What’s It About?
If you like original fantasy and science fiction, then you will love this highly unique story. It’s a story of gods and goddesses – not just any gods and goddesses. These gods and goddesses make universes for a living.
Yep. Suns and planets and moons and everything that lives on them. They attend God School for where they learn the basics of universe building. And, when they graduate, if they are good enough, they get a job working for The Business.
And that’s when things get really interesting…
The First Book Did Great!
The first story was about a young god named Bernie. He graduated from God School and managed to land a job with The Business. However, he has to successfully build his first universe if he hopes to keep his job. Unfortunately, a school rival is out to sabotage his world and get him fired. The story is full of humorous twists and turns that not even a god could have foreseen.
Universe Builders book won 16 awards in 2015, so I know people loved it. And not just any awards. It won the Grand Prize from Writer’s Digest AND the Grand Prize from INA. And four gold medals and lots of silvers and finalists awards.
I did everything I could to make sure everyone would enjoy it. Well, maybe not everyone – there’s nothing that isn’t G-rated, but I made up for that by adding lots of humor and some extra stuff to spice it up.
The first book became a Best Seller on Amazon and even hit Top Ratings in three categories. It was quite an experience to see my book with 4.7 stars ranked alongside books that have become classics, such as Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, Ender’s Game, Star Wars, The Dragon Riders of Pern, A Princess of Mars, and more.
What about Bernie and the Lost Girl?
Well, I know you didn’t come here to hear about Bernie and the Putty. You came here for the second book, Bernie and the Lost Girl. I’m delighted to say it’s doing extremely well with 4.7 stars at Amazon.
These are some reviewer quotes:
“This new series is going to be as enthralling as Harry Potter.”
“The perfect little story to lead into the next book in the series. I can’t wait to read more.”
“I gave it 5 stars but I wish I could give it more.”
“It has appeal for both the young and young at heart. I am myself a great grandmother with my YA days long behind me but I don’t feel as if I was reading a children’s book.”
“It’s a must-read mind-boggling book.”
“Just as funny, character-driven, and engaging as the first book.”
“Thanks, Steve LeBel, for another exceptional read.”
“Even though it is billed for 12-18 year olds, it has something for all ages. Even a grandfather like me found it a compelling read.”
Anything Else?
Yep. I’m also going to give you some free chapters. When you read either Bernie and the Lost Girl or Bernie and the Putty, you’ll be curious about the relationship between Bernie and a nasty young god named Billy. The short collection is called The Fight, and it will answer some questions for you. But don’t read it first!
Okay, What’s the Catch?
Not that complicated, really. I’m betting that once you discover the story of Bernie and his universe building friends, you’ll want more. And that’s when you’ll know that you really want to buy the award-winning Bernie and the Putty to see what happens to Bernie when he finally graduates from God School. I’m also busy writing the third book called Bernie and the Wizards, which will be out this summer. I hope you’ll want that one too.
Okay. Enough talking. Are you ready to get your free copy of Bernie and the Lost Girl?
It’s easy. I’m going to buy you a copy as an Amazon gift. All I need is your email address so I know where to send it.
You need a Kindle or a device that will read a Kindle file (.mobi), then you’re all set. If you don’t have a Kindle, then the Kindle reader is an app that runs on your tablet, your smart phones and your PC.
So, ready?
